In conjunction with ATO/Shanghai, ATO/Beijing supported the launch of the Northwest Cherry season with two high profile events. The first was the filming of a promotional blurb for Northwest Cherries with the Ambassador and the President of TMall, Daniel Zhang. TMall launched a major online promotion for cherries that day, with Daniel and ATO/Beijing¡¯s own Amy Zhang traveling out to personally present the first box of cherries for the season to the first lucky TMall customer.
The Second event was the kickoff of a nationwide Sam¡¯s Club cherry promotion with Ambassador Locke. The Ambassador gave a speech at Sam¡¯s Club along with Keith Hu of Northwest Cherries, and the Sam¡¯s Club COO. The event really took off when the Ambassador dove into the crowd of customers to hand out customers and sing the praises of fresh Northwest cherries. The crowd of local shoppers was hugely impressed with the Ambassador¡¯s energy and passion for promoting a signature U.S. product.
