To promote quality and value characteristics of U.S. agricultural brands, the USDA/Beijing IPR office protects U.S. agricultural interests intellectual property rights (IPR) in China. The office does this through assistance and advocacy in the areas of patent, trademark, and copyright registration and enforcement against infringement efforts. The USDA/IPR Office is here to protect U.S. agricultural intellectual property rights by providing direct assistance to U.S. industry associations and businesses in their efforts to secure registration and protect against infringements through various enforcement remedies. In addition, our close relationship with government and industry will insure representation of U.S. agricultural interests will be reflected overall U.S. policy objectives.
