FAS Trade Leads
Fast and effective matchmaking for international buyers and U.S. suppliers!
How Are Trade Leads Collected and Distributed?
International buyers are able to source U.S. food and agricultural products quickly, efficiently and free of charge through the Trade Leads system.

Inquiries from international buyers are collected by FAS overseas office and sent to FAS headquarters in Washington, D.C.  FAS Washington headquarters then disseminates the Trade Leads via e-mail daily to registered export agents, trade associations, and U.S. companies.

After receiving the Trade Lead, U.S. suppliers may then contact prospective international buyer directly.

What Information Is Needed for a Trade Lead?
Information included in the Trade Lead is:

  • basic contact information (contact name, company name, address, telephone, fax, e-mail)
  • a bank reference; and
  • product needed (quantity, quality, packaging, price quotation basis, time of delivery, and other requirements).
How Do I Submit a Trade Lead?
To submit your Trade Lead contact your nearest FAS office.

USDAChina offers on-line registration forms in web's Chinese version (/trade_mission_form.asp?id=C3KmCW), which the Chinese importers can readily fill in and submit to the Beijing/Shanghai/Guangzhou ATO. Post will translate the form from Chinese to English and send to FAS headquarter in Washington D.C.
