Georgia Governor and Agriculture Commissioner lead trade delegation to Shanghai

Georgia Governor Nathan Deal led a delegation of Georgia¡¯s leading business and government officials to Shanghai, China, August 22-23, 2013.  China is the second-largest export destination for Georgia businesses, with more than $3.6 billion in exports annually of carpets, poultry, aircraft and wood products.  Commissioner of Agriculture Gary Black met with ATO Director and staff to discuss cooperation for educational exchanges in agriculture and future market promotions.  ATO also met with representatives from Georgia pecan, sauces, and peanut companies, and introduced them to Chinese buyers.
