CIFST Convenient Food Conference
The second major food manufacturing event will be the China Institute for Food Science and Technology¡¯s Convenient Food Expo, from September 5-6. ATO has organized a workshop on dry beans and small grains use in instant noodles for the instant noodle segment of the show, with presentations by the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, the Northern Crops Institute, the Dry Pea and Lentil Council, and Chinese processors Master Kong (China¡¯s largest instant noodle maker) and Yihai Kerry (a major milling and food products company). ATO has also worked with CIFST to arrange additional U.S. speakers for other parts of the show, particularly the segment on snack foods.
