The delegation received high attention in all the stations, especially in Lodi. A reception was organized at the Lodi Wine Center, by Camron King, Executive Director of the Lodi Winegrape Commission, with assistance provided by executives from the Well Fargo Banks¡¯ International Group-China Desk, as well as Frank Gayaldo, a local grape grower and promoter for Lodi ag products.
The event was also attended by the Mayor of Lodi and members of the city council, several Lodi grape growers, winemakers, marketers, shippers, as well as some local media. It was broadcast on the nightly TV news and was in local newspaper the next morning. All the wine delegation members were quite impressed by the beautiful American wine and showed great interests in importing.
