ATO Visit to the 9th World Dairy Expo China

The 9th World Dairy Expo China, which featured more than 200 exhibitors, provided an excellent opportunity for companies involved in the dairy industry to showcase their products.    American companies featured especially strong promotions of products such as alfalfa feed, cow genetics, and mechanical dairy equipment.  Overall, the show effectively allowed dairy businesses to gain a greater awareness of new developments in the industry and to freely network with potential trade partners.  ATO staff attended the event, which was located in Hefei, on the weekend of June 11-12.  On June 10th, ATO members also visited Modern Dairy Farm, which is currently the largest dairy operation in China with more than 80,000 cows under its management.
