| With the strong support from the Guangdong Cold-Chain Logistics Association, ATO Guangzhou cosponsored the Asia Games Food Safety Training Seminar. Attended by over 80 major hotel managers and chefs, the event was kicked off with remarks by ATO Director followed by food safety lectures by Sun Yat Sen University professor Hong Wenhua MPH, and Louisiana State University HACCP approval trainer Huang Naiyi PhD. Consul General of the U.S. Consulate Guangzhou, Brian Goldbeck closed the seminar with remarks on the importance of food safety during this time of increased international tourism and the commitment the USG has to helping Chinese develop an internationally recognized success in food safety during the Asia Games in November. |
