The U.S. Wheat Associates organized its annual crop quality and marketing seminar in Guangzhou from November 15 to 16, 2006 featuring many experts in the field. The one and a half day program introduced the audience to the current year wheat supply and demand situation and quality of various U.S. wheat varieties. Special topics included transportation, wheat inspection for pesticide residues and health trends towards consuming more whole grain foods. More than eighty participants from the milling industry and trade from all over the country participated in the program.
