Great American Baking Ingredients Promotion £¨May 12-14, 2006 Guangzhou)

May 12-14, marks the 10th annual Interbake Show in Guangzhou. The US Agricultural Trade Office Guangzhou (ATO Guangzhou) and ten co-operator groups are teaming up at the event to showcase a wide variety of US baking products, all in one innovative display area incorporating food demonstrations, product samples, new recipes, sourcing information and more. The resulting U.S. pavilion will include the US Highbush Blueberry Council, the Western United States Agricultural Trade Association, US Wheat Association, the Sino-American Baking School, the American Soybean Association, the Almond Board of California, the US Potato Board, the US Diary Export Council, Ocean Spray International, Inc. and Graceland Fruit, Inc. In addition to refreshments and giveaways for guests, the booth will feature hourly demonstration from two internationally renowned bakers, John Hui and Heinz Fischer. John Hui has over 27 years of baking experience, most recently serving as Executive Pastry Chef of the world famous Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. He has won numerous awards for his baking skills, including the Antonin Car¨ºme Medal and Las Vegas Chef of the Year, and has appeared in many food magazines and cookbooks. Heinz Fischer is certified patissier-confiseur and cook who has worked for top hotels around the world and has received many prestigious baking awards for his skills. The interactive presentations by these experts will showcase the high quality and versatility of many US ingredients.
